Service Description

First and foremost, this session is all about you. We'll start by discussing your reasons for seeking counselling and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This is an opportunity for you to share your thoughts, feelings, and concerns in a safe and confidential space. I'll also provide you with some information about how counselling works and what you can expect from our sessions. We'll discuss practical matters such as scheduling, fees, and confidentiality to ensure you feel comfortable and informed. Throughout the session, I'll take the time to get to know you better, asking questions to gain a deeper understanding of your unique experiences and needs. Together, we'll collaboratively explore your goals and develop a personalised counselling plan that suits your individual needs and circumstances. By the end of the intake session, my hope is that you'll feel empowered and supported to continue taking steps towards positive change that enables you to learn, grow and thrive. PLEASE NOTE: If you've been referred by somebody to my services or you have found your way here by yourself and you are not a counselling student, newly graduated counsellor or practising counsellor - that's okay. I do occasionally offer general counselling services. I have experience working 1:1 with adult clients experiencing stress, anxiety, overwhelm, burnout, depression, grief, loss, trauma (lived experience or vicarious). Please either book an Intake Counselling Session or email me with any questions you may have. Sessions available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. If this availability does not suit you, please contact me to request an alternate time and I will see if I can accommodate that request.
