Service Description

Peer supervision sessions offer a unique opportunity for counsellors to connect with a peer and receive support, guidance, and insight into their professional practice. Peer supervision sessions are designed for counsellors who are seeking a confidential space to discuss any professional issues or challenges they may be facing. Whether you're grappling with complex cases, navigating ethical dilemmas, or simply seeking advice on best practices, these sessions provide a valuable opportunity to receive feedback and support from a fellow professional. Our peer supervision sessions will be a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where you can freely express your thoughts, concerns and questions. My role is to listen, provide a different perspective and offer guidance based on my own knowledge and experience in the field. It's important to note that peer supervision sessions are not about sharing personal experiences or seeking therapy. They're focused on professional development and growth, with a focus on enhancing your effectiveness as a counsellor. During these sessions, you'll have the opportunity to explore strategies, brainstorm solutions and gain fresh insights into your practice. Together, we'll work collaboratively to identify areas for growth and development, ultimately helping you to become a more confident and competent counsellor. Whether you're a student on placement, a newly graduated counsellor navigating your first year of practice or an experienced therapist looking to enhance your skills, peer supervision sessions offer a valuable opportunity for ongoing learning and support. Unlike some peer supervision sessions, where sharing is reciprocal and time is limited, our sessions are solely dedicated to you and your development. I look forward to supporting you on your professional journey! Sessions available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. If this availability does not suit you, please contact me to request an alternate time and I will see if I can accommodate that request.
